Naoto Asahara

Naoto Asahara was a Japanese author of Light novels. He started publishing his works on Kakuyomu, a Japanese online publishing platform. His first novel in paper format is [Kanojo ga Suki na Mono wa Homo deatte Boku de wa nai], published by Kadokawa on February 2018. Stunning success, this novel was adapted in April 2019 into a TV series, on the NHK channel, and also into a manga. Naoto Asahara passed away on July 16 due to malignant lymphoma. He was 38.
