Mauricio Antonio Morazan

Mauricio Antonio Morazan (born April 24th, 1998) is a Guatemalan American actor and filmmaker. Born in Guatemala City, Mauricio moved to the United States with his single mother in 2006 at the age of 8. After spending some time in Temecula, he moved to the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles where he quickly fell in love with theatre. In his time as a teenager in middle school and high school, he dawned many different roles in various productions at Mulholland Middle School and Granada Hills Charter High School. At the age of 20, he began his professional career as a stage actor at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. He starred as Ford Prefect in the critically acclaimed adaptation of “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy,” as well as being one of the many writers and actors in the award nominated original play “Disposable.” In the following years, he pivoted towards education, teaching theater and directing at the prestigious Sierra Canyon School between 2020-2025 before making a return to the industry in 2026. He’s since appeared as a background actor in the Emmy winning season 5 of “Hacks,” and is one of the writers, directors, producers and actors in his debut short film, “Drury Lane.”
