Rajesh Rajnikant Patel is a successful businessman and entrepreneur based in London. Born in Tarapur, Gujarat, into a prominent business family, he developed a keen interest in films from his school days. He would often bunk school to watch films featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Mithun Chakraborty and other popular stars of the 1980s. He also participated in school annual functions, plays and inter-school competitions, with the ambition of pursuing acting as a profession. However, destiny had a different plan for him. After his family moved to London, his life took a different direction. He completed his basic education in London and later joined the family business. After achieving success in business, he continued to pursue his long-standing passion for films. Once he had fulfilled his family and business commitments, he decided to enter film production and registered his production company, M/s. Om Shivam Pictures Ltd. (UK), in 2024. Being Gujarati by birth, his first production was the Gujarati film Layak Nalayakk, featuring prominent actors from Gujarat. Approximately 95% of the film was shot in London in May 2025. To continue the momentum of his production house, he began work on his second Gujarati film, Tara Maate, within six months, in November 2025. Layak Nalayakk was released on July 24, 2026, and received a positive response from audiences, marking the fulfilment of Rajesh R. Patel's long-held dream of producing films.
