Son Doan

Born in 1984, Belgian cinematographer Son Doan began working on film sets in 2012 after studying cinematography at INSAS in Brussels. In 2017, he shot Meryem Benm’Barek’s debut feature, Sofia. He has worked on various shorts and features and has collaborated with Thuy Han Nguyen Chi on several experimental films, a process that made him explore different ways to tell stories.
