Telly Savalas

Aristotelis "Telly" Savalas (21 gennaio 1922 – 22 gennaio 1994) è stato un attore e cantante americano di cinema e televisione la cui carriera si è estesa per quattro decenni. Conosciuto soprattutto per aver interpretato il ruolo principale nel dramma poliziesco degli anni '70 Kojak, Savalas fu nominato all'Oscar come miglior attore non protagonista per la sua interpretazione in Birdman of Alcatraz (1962). Tra i suoi altri crediti cinematografici figurano The Young Savages (1961), The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), Battle of the Bulge (1965), The Dirty Dozen (1967), The Scalphunters (1968), il supercriminale Ernst Stavro Blofeld nel film di James Bond On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), Kelly's Heroes (1970), Pretty Maids All in a Row (1971), Inside Out (1975) e Escape to Athena (1979).
