개요: 하이모어 주연! 2차대전 당시, 영국군인 칼럼은 영국으로 잡혀온 독일 제트엔진 제조 기술자 디터 쾰러가 영국인을 도와 신형 제트기를 개발하도록 하는 임무를 맡는다. 처음엔 작전이었으나 시간이 지날수록 둘 사이에 우정이 쌓이게 된다.
