Paul moves in with his best friend, Stephanie (Stephanie Gatschet), a former soap opera ingenue, hoping to break into the industry. He navigates the unpredictable world of showbiz through connections like Breeze (Ivet Corvea), a former lover turned casting director, and Gracie (Katy Jacoby), a writer for The Bold & The Beautiful. Paul's efforts include inviting Gracie to a storytelling show and attempting to charm Trevor (Chuck Saculla), a TV producer with a secret. Just as Paul's dreams start to feel out of reach, a reunion with two friends from his past in New York City (Melissa Claire Egan & Chrishell Stause) leaves him questioning everything.
