Content: Ines Gutierrez is an eight year old girl from a low income household with a scholarship to an elite private elementary school. On a sunny afternoon, her mother, Emilia, drops Ines off for a playdate with two of her privileged classmates. Little does Ines know, this play-date will be her first step into understanding what it means to be "othered", and the social burdens that come with it. Lucky for her, family is always here to remind her that there is a space for everyone.
