Content: In 2022, radio hosts and music promoters Raven Moonla and Zach Moonshine organized an underground metal music festival in small town Tennessee. In doing so, they became a target for outrage from religious fundamentalists and conservative politicians, as well as a rallying point for those outside of the Bible Belt’s constrictive culture. Death Reigns follows Zach and Raven’s Metal Devastation Festival, its impact, and triumph over the forces that attempted to silence it.
