(Карта России)

Content: Interactive map of the cultural and social life of the regions. The team of the educational project "Open University" went on an expedition around the country to learn about the activities of Russians outside the capitals, from million-plus cities to villages and outskirts. The central theme of the Maps of Russia is civil society. The focus is on personal initiatives that can transform the environment, a rehabilitation center for drug addicts in Pskov, computer literacy lessons in Karelian in a village near Petrozavodsk, a program to save 19th-century port warehouses from demolition organized in Nizhny Novgorod.
