Content: Rye Green Berry is a code for RGB. This film summons our memories of light and color through film screens. It then intentionally rewrites the slowly disappearing color worlds - historical paintings, vintage movies, videotapes - in digital space, transforming them into a new color palette. Taking its cue from Roland BARTHES' S/Z, the film overcodes found materials, liberates characters from their original stories and builds an operatic fable from their signifiers.
