Led by the Iraqi-Egyptian singer and multi-instrumentalist Nadin Al Khalidi, the performance combines deeply personal storytelling with powerful ensemble playing. And the music moves between Arabic folk influences, world music, jazz-inflected passages and contemporary acoustic textures.
