(Waves of Emotions)

Content: In a fishing village in Indonesia, the harsh realities of climate change have left their mark, dramatically altering life as its inhabitants knew it. Among them is Marno, a resilient man haunted by the memory of a calamitous storm from a year ago that robbed him of everything he once held dear. As he endeavors to rebuild and mend the fraying ties with his wife, his relationship with their only son remains his sole beacon of hope. Yet, beneath his persevering facade lies a tangle of grief and deep-seated denial. Avoiding the stark truth of his past, Marno’s sorrow tightens its grip, pushing him closer to the precipice of mental collapse. The tale is a poignant exploration of love, loss, and the profound impact of unresolved trauma.
